This 2010 Mercedes-Benz G550 was meant for someone of class, with style and panache. With its utilitarian bold appearance the G-Wagen or Gelandewagen has and will always be the pinnacle of what a powerful looking vehicle resembles. Rolling down the street this baby will catch nearly every eye. You just don't see these everyday like other SUV's. They are driven and owned by a more sophisticated individual that enjoys being exclusive and by one that loves the upper level of style and class with no excuses in terms of power delivery! There just isn't another more well refined SUV on the planet that delivers this much performance, with so much luxury and that has the off-road capability. Not much has changed on the G, with the exception of interior features and power. Thankfully Mercedes-Benz answered the call for a powertrain revision by adding this freshly tuned 5.5 Liter V8 engine & 7 speed transmission. Once you feel the surge of the 382 horsepower roar into life you'll be blown away by the performance. This monstrosity will leap from 0-60 mph in only 5.9 seconds! Not too shabby for a highly luxurious grocery getter that can probably out climb anything in the world up a hill. Regardless of your intentions, whether it to be the star of the show, or to have a highly capable off-road military-type SUV that has the ultimate luxury amenities then look no further...
Vehicles are like humans, and all about first impressions. The bold Exterior condition is extremely nice and even though the off-road capability is there, it doesn't seem like it has answered that call of duty yet. Crack the door open and slam it, and you may do it several times in a row until you come to grips with how solid and stiff the construction is with this machine, not something you see on flimsy vehicles today. For those that are turned off by modern egg-shaped SUV's with futuristic body lines, this classic G-Wagen will undoubtedly rain supreme as the hands down exotic winner. It has often been described as both a timeless design, and a rolling statue. In no way will you find another model of SUV with as much character as the G-Wagen, solidifying the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" approach to fulfilling the demands of enthusiasts. Conditionally this G550 will no disappoint the most discriminative buyer. With 44k miles saying that it is "like new" would be a stretch although there are no excuses with the exterior & body. In fact, when it first came in we thought that it looked like an SUV with less than half of the miles than it has. Amazingly the underside is free from any signs of ever being off-road or even in any type of bad weather. We were blown away at seeing it up on a lift and how clean the underside is, after all this is a beastly off-road machine and many people use them in many lines of duty but not this one. Thankfully it appears that this was just a beauty queen to transport its owner in ultimate style. The body is nearly perfect, the paint is as flawless as can be with understanding of the mileage/year, the 18" Twin 5-Spoke wheels are in great shape and on no panel does this G-Wagen appear to have ever been repainted. It does not show any signs of ever being in an accident, our incredibly detailed inspection backs up all reports 100% and shows it to be a perfect SUV with NO stories. All history reports are perfect & accident FREE including a Certified Carfax Vehicle History Report with never a blemish.
After you are done licking the paint off you might have to take a break before you open the doors of this beast! Close the door behind you and you'll almost feel as if you are in a vault! Although the exterior with exception to colors and wheel choices remains preserved, the interior gets surprisingly modern features. There are no options inside the G550, with a $104,875.00 price tag, Mercedes-Benz took the honors of fitting them fully loaded to appease the special needs of those that live lavish lifestyles. Everything is powered and heated, including the windshield, steering wheel, and washer nozzles. Wood and leather cover the dash and seats, which also cool and offer adjustable bolstering. Steering wheel controls, Bluetooth, and a thumping 7-channel harman/kardon sound system w/integrated 6-Disc CD/DVD changer keep things civil. The COMMAND System with HD Navigation & Rear View Back Up Camera is right in line with keeping up with today's demands and directional controls. Conditionally the interior is as first class as you would desire. You won't find any signs of being smoked in and no smells associated with it ever being in foul weather. The interior has been lushly appointed with Mercedes-Benz's top of the line Premium Black Leather which is in pristine condition and it has been very well preserved. All of the Burl Walnut Wood, trim pieces, knobs etc are literally as good or better than any that you'll find. We had quite a few G-Wagens and other types of SUV's of this caliber and few have been in this great condition.
In conclusion, you won't find a nicer low mileage well maintained 2010 Mercedes-Benz G550 on the market with such a gorgeous color combination as this one. We have searched very carefully and looked all over the internet and finding a "comp" to this one and the market is fairly limited. We reserve the right to end this listing at anytime should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. The following terms of sale apply to all of our listings.
Payment Terms:
The successful high bidder will submit a $1,000 non-refundable deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.
Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 3 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
Payment Methods:
Cash (in person), certified check, bank transfers, or 3rd-party financing.
Fees and Taxes:
In addition to all purchases a $298.00 documentation fee will apply. In-state buyers will pay a $25.00 smog fee, a $28.25 title fee and state sales tax. Out of state buyers will pay a $8.25 drive away permit fee plus documentation fee. Any buyer needing financing must have FULL approval from a bonafide lending institution prior to bidding or purchasing. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
