1997 Land Rover Defender 90 Station Wagon

Welcome to AdventureMotorCar's online listing. You are looking at a Portifino Red 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 Station Wagon. This is one of only 1,300 Station Wagons made in 1997. This is a low mileage, nice, clean Defender 90 that runs and drives as good as it looks.

Options include; 4.0L V-8 Engine, Automatic Transmission, Air Conditioning, 16" alloy wheels, 265/75/16 BF Goodrich Radial All Terrain T/A Tires, Land Rover AM/FM/tape player stereo system, (4) Land Rover weatherproof speakers, (4) inward facing jump seats, Land Rover Rubber Mats (front and rear), and more!

The exterior is in excellent condition. The finish on the paint is nice and glossy. The only exterior apologies are a few minor imperfections typical of a sixteen-year-old vehicle (see pics). The wheels look great and the Tires are BRAND NEW.

The interior of this Defender is in excellent condition. The seats are in great condition with no stains or rips. The rubber matting, dash and plastic trim are all in good shape. Only typical flaws found (see pics). The A/C blows Ice Cold.  

The CARFAX report shows four owners, however they were all the same owner.  It was originally put in his personal name, then his company's name, then back to his personal name, and finally to a family member's name.  It has never left Southern California.  There is a mileage discrepancy shown that is common for Defender 90's due to the decimal point found on the '97 digital odometers.  I pulled the cluster and photographed the stamp and sticker on the back of the odometer (both state '97) proving that it is original.  In addition, I do have a service receipt from Land Rover Pasadena dated 9/18/08 and the vehicle only had 10,417 miles.  I am 100% confident that the mileage is correct.
