One of the Gems from our inventory! In 1967 they made cars to last forever and somehow not many of them did without being ripped apart or forgot about. This particular Newport Custom was obviously well taken care of its entire life. The paint was recently re-done in a close to factory metallic brown and added white race stripes. All the body pieces were original and refitted to the previous owner's best ability. Virtually nothing has been done to change this car from its original state from the assembly line minus a modern CD player that is almost hidden away under the dash, and also a small subwoofer in the trunk.

In '67 they launched the Custom line with special exterior markings and slightly nicer interior and this interior is all original. There are no cracks in the leather but it does show minor signs of wear. The dashboard has no cracks to be seen, and with only 81,406 miles on the dash at the time of the pictures it easy to see how it could be all original. When it comes to engine specs the story stays the same. A 383 CID V8, mated with a the 727, 3 speed automatic all in perfect working order that breathes out of its true dual exhaust system. The engine had a major overhaul right around 100 miles ago and was fitted with some nice extras. A Weiand Intake system matched with a 4-Barrel Edelbrock Carburetor.  

This vehicle is in perfect driving condition and is looking for another home to take the same kind of care of it for the next 46 years. This vehicle has the original keys and emblems and is already a complete package. If you grew up loving this almost fastback body style that was minimally produced by Chrysler then now is your chance.
