Pleasanton, CA 925-846-1451 History - This Particular Jaguar XF This lovely Jaguar XF was purchased new at local San Jose British Motors on May 21, 2010 by a Silicon Valley executive. Since she acquired the car it has been serviced exclusively by the delivering dealer with strict compliance to the recommended Jaguar maintenance / service schedule. In fact, the "XF" was last seen by San Jose British Motors on August 29, 2013 when it had 20,093 miles (just over 6,000 miles ago). At that time, as you would expect, the car was given a complete inspection by Jaguar including their comprehensive Multi-Point Inspection. The car was given a "Clean Bill of health" with all measurements meeting or exceeding acceptable measurements. A weak battery and a noisy fuel pump were identified and both were replaced under the comprehensive Jaguar warranty. The cars limited repair history with San Jose British Motors (based on the very low mileage) is available and the XK comes with all of the original delivery documents, books, records, CD disc, etc. Finished in incredibly beautiful "Ultimate Black Metallic" with "Warm Charcoal" the Jaguar is truly a striking example of a current style Jaguar XF. With an in service date of 5/21/13 the Jaguar's warranty will be in effect for another 7+ months (or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first). In addition we can offer and extended warranty at additional cost should the cars new owner have an interest in this option. History - Jaguar XF The Jaguar XF is a mid-size executive car introduced in 2008 to replace the S-Type. In January 2008, the XF received recognition as "Car of the Year" and "Executive Car of the Year" by automotive publications. Engines offered in the XF include a 2.0 liter, 3.0 liter V6 and the 5.0-liter V8 engine that puts out an impressive 385 hp in normally aspirated form. The XF was developed at Jaguar's Whitley design and development HQ in Coventry and is built at Castle Bromwich Assembly facility in Birmingham. During its development the XF was known by its code name X250. The XF was launched at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, following the public showing of the C-XF concept in January 2007 at the North American International Auto Show. Designed by Jaguar's design director Ian Callum, it was a significant design change from its predecessor. The styling of the finalized production XF varies from that of the C-XF, most notably around the front lights and nose, which incorporates an oval mesh grille harking back to the original Jaguar XJ of 1968. However, if you keep your car washed and waxed rust shouldn't be a problem. CONDITION COSMETIC CONDITION We must admit that describing this Jaguar XF Portfolio is quite straightforward. While the phrase "Like New" is often times misused, it certainly has application in this case. Virtually every part of the car, both inside and out rates extremely high and reflects the high level of "cost no object" care that this car has received. The car's color combination makes it one of our favorites on a luxury sporting sedan. The Jaguar exterior condition reflects its mileage of just over 26,000 miles. The body is perfectly straight, free from door dings and the "bumper rash" that we often see on later model cars that do not receive a high level of care. The Jaguar has never been involved in an accident and has a completely clean Car Fax report. Additionally, to support the lack of damage / replacement panels, the factory VIN # tags are present on each panel (Note one of the photos in the listing). As a result of the minimal use and minimal exposure to the elements, the XF has superb paint that is free from all but the most minor imperfections that can be seen only upon the most critical close inspection. Of course, the car has been garaged for its entire life and received regular professional detailing to ensure that he Jaguar looked its best at all times for its proud original owner. The exterior trim is equally as good with no nicks or scrapes on the bumpers (a suburban car so there is none of the "big city" parking damage), noticeable door dings or signs of previous or current damage or imperfections. The wheels are factory 19" Sport wheels and are in very nice condition showing only a few minor imperfections from minor contact with parking curbs. The Jaguar has been driven by a professional, mature owner / driver so the interior is equally as nice as the exterior showing no signs of wear and tear and has seen passengers only a handful of times. The interior is exceptional from the seats to the door panels, trim, dash and all other parts of the inside cabin. The interior is fitted with virtually every option including navigation, voice recognition, parking System ("beepers" and camera), and the "Advanced Key" technology. As the old adage goes. "A photograph is worth 1,000 words" applies when it comes to the photos of the interior. It is simply as good as it gets and has the appearance of a new car. The front and rear seats are in fantastic condition as is the remainder of the Jaguar's interior and trim. MECHANICAL CONDITION The new owner of the Jaguar XF will receive the complete documentation of service / maintenance records from San Jose British, the delivering and servicing dealer. The cars very particular owner exceeded the Jaguar recommended service schedule and addressed any minor issues as they developed.
