The Porsche 356 was the company's first production automobile. It was a lightweight and nimble-handling rear-engine rear-wheel-drive 2-door sports car available in hardtop coupe and open configurations. Design innovations continued during the years of manufacture, contributing to its motorsports success and popularity. Production started in 1948 at Gm"und, Austria, where approximately 50 cars were built. In 1950 the factory relocated to Zuffenhausen, Germany, and general production of the 356 continued until April 1965, well after the replacement model 911 made its autumn 1963 debut. Of the 76,000 originally produced, approximately half survive.

This particular car was built by the world renowned company, Special Editions, Inc in Bremen, Indiana. It was special ordered by an executive from a very well known concert hall to be the nicest 356C Replica produced. It was built at a “no expense spared” cost of $67,800 and it shows. It is the only 356C with these upgrades built by them to date. This car has had extensive upgrades over their Deluxe Body Package and had the set of Weber carburetors added after completion to give the car some extra horsepower! Check out www.beckspeedster.com for more details!

MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present the handsome 1964 Porsche 356C you see pictured, which is quite possibly the nicest 356 Replica to exist. This particular 356C is in fact a Chamonix Karosserie, manufactured by Beck. This Porsche has the nostalgic German look with modern day conveniences and is sure to put a grin on your face!

Finished in jet black, the paint is in superb condition, showing only very, very minor rock chips, which is typical of a car that is normally driven. The convertible top is finished in black canvas which looks great. The top shows no signs of staining, wear or tear. The body is exceptionally straight and looks fantastic. The chrome is in excellent condition as well.

Inside, you will find that the Porsche Boxster seats have been wrapped in red leather and really set off the black exterior. The seats, matching door panels and red carpet show no signs of wear and look excellent. The seats are power, heated and lumbar to keep you comfy while you cruise around town in the 356! There is an AM/FM/CD player hidden in the glove compartment with iPod & USB capabilities that is attached to 6 speakers with a power amplifier and subwoofer. The car has heat as well as an alarm system, kill switch and power windows. This is truly a beautiful replica with modern day luxuries.

The Porsche is powered by a 1915cc Jake Rabie engine, capable of producing up to 170 horsepower. This particular engine has two spark plugs per cylinder and also has Weber carburetors and electronic ignition. Attached to the engine is a manual transmission. This little sports car is sure to turn heads wherever you may go!

The 356 sits upon a set of 15” chrome Porsche wheels wrapped in newer P155/80R15 BF Goodrich tires that look awesome. The VIN is AZ321616 and the current mileage shows 2,541. It is being sold on a clean and clear Arizona title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
