The 2012 Land Rover Range Rover Sport combines traditional SUV qualities with uncharacteristic driving fun.

This sharp looking and elegant SUV underwent through major updates in 2010 that carried over to 2011. The Range Rover Sport gets a greater number of multimedia updates for 2012.

Drivetrain

With its 375-horsepower 375 lb.-ft V-8, the Range Rover Sport hustles; four adults and a trunk full of cargo is feather weight for this machine. Land Rovers outstanding six-speed automatic transmission, upshifts in a blink of an eye and can down shift multiple gears at once. While engaging the Sport mode, it holds lower gears with precise timing for thrilling acceleration.

Outstanding Terrain Response system will control the all-wheel drive system and varying drivetrain settings with just a touch of a button. Electronically adjustable suspension will get you prepared for any road conditions. It will allow you maximum of 8.9 inches of ground clearance. This particular vehicle has an Electronic Rear Differential Lock that will maximize the grip from the rear wheels.

The Inside

Land Rover updated the standard navigation system this year with second-generation electronics and updated graphics. This 2012 Range Rover Sport HSE has an optional rear entertainment system and optional Harman Logic 7 system that was also upgraded.

The rear seats have good thigh support and adult-friendly room all around. Seats are finished in luxurious Nutmeg Premium leather. Folding the backseat requires tilting the bottom cushions forward before putting the seatbacks down. It enables a flat surface of 71 cubic feet of cargo volume.
