We all know that the financial times right now are tough. With the stock market being so volatile and investments becoming less valuable, many people are turning to the classic car market to invest their money. Putting your money into a hard asset that you can enjoy everyday is becoming a very popular option, especially now when the marketplace is lower then it’s been in many years. We invite you to put your money into a vehicle that is fun to own and brings back memories of when you were younger.

The first F-Series truck was introduced in 1948, replacing the company's previous car-based pickup line. It was a modern-looking truck with a flat, one-piece windshield and integrated headlights. Design of the F-Series truck changed little from 1948 to 1952. From 1948–1950, the grill was a series of horizontal bars and the headlights were set into the fenders. For 1951 and 1952, the headlights were connected by a wide aerodynamic cross piece with three similarly aerodynamic supports. The rear window was wider in the later trucks and the dashboard was redesigned.

MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to offer the beautiful 1951 Ford F1 Pickup you see pictured with a Flathead V8. This particular truck has benefitted from an older body off restoration and it shows well! The truck has been refinished in the original factory shade of Vermillion Green and looks great, showing only minor imperfections such as rock chips to the front end. There is a set of black running boards on either side of the truck to make getting in and out of the truck easier and they look great. The floor of the bed is finished in wood and looks great. Both front and rear bumpers have been painted black to match the running boards which all look great and have no major imperfections. All of the glass on the truck is intact and in excellent shape.

Inside, you will see that the older restoration didn’t just benefit the outside of the truck. The interior is in great shape and is wrapped in two tone black and gray vinyl. The seat shows no signs of wear or tear. The door panels, floor and headliner are all finished in black and look just as great as the seat. The dashboard is color matched to the exterior of the truck, shows no signs of cracking or fading and looks beautiful. It even still houses original style gauges and an AM radio.

Under the hood, you will find a 239 cubic inch Flathead V8 that runs great. The engine is clean and sits in a tidy engine bay. Attached to the V8 is a 3-speed manual transmission, shifted through the column. This is a beautiful, peppy little truck that is turn to attract attention anywhere it goes.

The truck sits upon a set of new 15” iON Alloy 8 punch wheels wrapped in new G78-15 Coker White Wall Tires that really set off the look of this classic pickup truck. This is a beautiful example of a classic truck that has withstood the test of time. The mileage currently shows 1,305 and the VIN is F1R1LU23497. It is being sold on a clean and clear Indiana title.
