It has to be one of the most beautiful examples you will ever see. Especially a 59 or 60! Technically it is a RestoMod with updated power train, custom interior, modern paint (charcoal quartz like a Mercedes), awesome stance, and cold air conditioning. The body features all original sheet metal with no patch panels or rust. It is painted a fabulous Medium Quartz Gray with terrific trim, chrome, and glass. It is show quality and solid as a rock. The bed received a combination of polished corrugated metal and spray in bed liner. A very cool and functional touch. Power comes from a new 325 horsepower Jasper Crate 350 V-8 motor (with receipts) topped with  an Edelbrock manifold and carburetor combo. It has a HEI electronic ignition system, for this project a rebuilt 700R4 overdrive transmission was chosen which provides great highway cruising at lower rpm, it also features a SK700G shift kit providing a nice performance shift but still smooth, The rear end was just rebuilt with a very correct gear ratio 3.55:1 for great performance as well as great cruising of highway speeds. The custom dual exhaust system sounds terrific a nice mellow tone. For more comfort in driving it has a quick ratio power steering set up and power front disc brakes it gets down the road with ease and handles very well. The new 17 inch chrome American Racing Torque thrust II 5 spoke wheels give it an old school but with modern flare and are glued to the pavement with real heavy duty front/rear sway bars, gas shocks, and refurbished hardware. The full custom interior has very comfortable bucket seats, center console, Ididit tilt column, LeCarra leather steering wheel, Custom Auto Sound cassette 4 speaker stereo, Classic Auto Perfect System for air conditioning, and those fine looking two tone fabrics. It is comfortable and looks amazing sitting on high grade full custom carpeting. If you love an original body with all the trim but updated everything else, you should consider investing in the cool Elky.  It features a locking compartment in the front of the bed floor to keep your items hidden and locked away.  .  I promise it gets lots of attention and will win a multitude of awards. It has already placed at shows before yet could be driven every single day if that is your desire. Better have plenty of time to execute the honey do list cause you will be in the hardware store parking lot explaining this car for a half hour.
