Up for sale we are offering a 1968 Chevy Chevelle. In ’68 Chevy gave the Chevelles a new look inside and out with a more rounded body and new roof line. The Chevelle we are offering is a frame off resto with a slick body, big block, 4 speed, and four wheel disc brakes. In the paragraphs to follow we will give you a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Chevelle. As we said it was a frame off pulled apart resto. All the panels were either repaired or replaced and then fitted to ensure a laser straight body. Everything was covered in the Tuxedo Black Paint that has a deep rich shine. At the time of the resto they installed new bumpers as well as other chrome. All the weather stripping was replaced to ensure a good fit of the doors and trunk. The stainless looks good as well as all the glass. This Chevelle has the SSs hood and trim. For the look its been lowered 2” and sits on a set of 18” and 20” American Racing wheels and new tires.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the ’68. It is all done in classic black with bucket seats and console. The seats, carpet, door panels, and headliner have all been redone. When you look at the dash it has the stock radio and the correct Tach In dash. The steering wheel was upgraded to a custom grip wheel. It all appears to have the correct 4 speed shifter.

Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it looks nice with it all being done in black as it should be. The engine is a 454 that is mated to a Muncie 4 Speed and a 10 Bolt rear End. It has a few upgrades with the After market Cam, Edelbrock Intake and Carb. Also it has Mickey Thompson Aluminum Valve covers and an Edelbrock Aluminum Breather. It has a 4 core radiator with an electric fan. The sound comes from the Headers with MagnaFlow Exhaust. It has new power steering and new Four Wheel Disc Brakes with drilled and slotted rotors with a show Master and Booster. The floors and frame also look very good with no visible signs of any damage.
