This is a very clean and thoroughly optioned 2004 VW Passat GLS TDI with the legendary 2.0L TDI Turbo Diesel Engine and Automatic Transmission. This car has always lived in Texas since new. The Carfax is perfectly clean. The engine is very strong and everything works perfect with no issues. The transmission shifts perfect. I've had many Passat TDI's, and this one actually drives better and has a stronger engine than any I've ever had. It has been extremely well maintained. The tires are Yokohama with plenty of tread. This car has nearly every option that was available at the time. I've put about 200 miles on this vehicle myself and it has performed flawlessly. This TDI engine is well known for its excellent economy and durability, and this one in particular has been very well cared for, so it runs and drives exceptionally well. I drive a 2003 VW Jetta TDI myself, and have been driving VW TDI's as my personal vehicle for several years, so I can attest to the fact that these are great cars to start with - but that's especially true when you find one that's been well maintained such as this one has.

Since this car has only lived in Texas since new, it hasn't ever been exposed to snow or salted roads. Therefore, there isn't any rust or corrosion anywhere on the car, top or bottom. I do have the clean and clear Texas title "in hand" and ready for the buyer. The previous owner bought it in 2010 with 145k miles and used it as a highway commuter. That owner changed to a job closer to home and therefore lost the need for a commuter car, so he traded the car in on a brand new F-250 at Southwest Ford, which is where I got the car from.

I use a local TDI specialist for my own VW TDI's, so as soon as I got this car it went straight to him for a thorough checking. He checked it out and serviced it very thoroughly, and put about 30 miles on it himself to road test it. He noted that the full timing belt service has been done very recently and it appears the car has always been run on the correct synthetic oil from VW. He replaced the rear brakes, one of the electric cooling fans, one motor mount, and changed the oil (again with VW synthetic) and fuel filter. I also had a front end alignment done. This car is ready to drive anywhere you want to take it and it drives great.

The interior is in excellent condition. Everything looks very good with very little wear showing, and all the upholstery is original and in good condition with no tears or stains anywhere. The A/C is cold and the Heat is hot. This car is loaded with options and everything works great!

The exterior also looks excellent! All body panels are original, all paint appears to be original, and the Carfax Report is perfectly clean, so there's no evidence of any previous accidents or damage. The paint is in great shape. Just some tiny rock chips and a couple tiny dings. I took close-up pictures of all the imperfections. This car really looks great.

This Passat is ready to be driven anywhere you want to take it. If you'd like to fly in and drive it home, I'll personally bring it to you at the airport when you arrive. If you need it shipped, I can arrange that for you too.
