20,000 Original Miles!

"For 1974, the Continental Mark IV base price increased $1,210 to $10,194, which had to be a bit of a shocker to potential customers perusing the window stickers. But the price wasn't the only thing that got bigger for 1974. Overall length was up to 228.3 inches due to the new federally-mandated rear bumper, which had the same requirements imposed upon it that were given the front bumper back in 1973. Curb weight also increased to 5,362 pounds. Engine horsepower was bumped up a bit as well, to 220 horses, thanks in part to the new solid-state ignition system. Except for styling changes made to accommodate the new rear bumper, the external appearance was almost identical to 1973."

There is not a lot to say about this one, the pictures say it all.  Documented one owner with only 20,000 miles!   Please let all the pictures load (there are over 100) to see the unbelievable condition of this classic old Lincoln. This car is ALL ORIGINAL, it has not been restored!  Without question it is one of the finest original collector cars we have had!  With only 20,000 miles, this Mark IV  looks and feels almost new!  The paint, exterior chrome and trim are incredible.  The vinyl top and interior are near perfect.  The undercarriage is extremely solid, clean and dry and still carries the original undercoating. The car rides, drives and looks terrific and I would not hesitate to take it anywhere!  If you have been looking for a mid 70's Mark IV, this is the one!  You would be hard pressed to find another in this condition. Included in the sale will be two sets of keys, the original owners manual and the original bill of sale verifing one owner.

Please remember that this car is 38 years old and not perfect.  The clock is inoperable, the passenger side mirror control knob is broken and the paint has some VERY MINOR stone chips as shown.
