Here we have a 1978 Chevrolet Suburban in Brown and White in nothing short of excellent condition. This car is an incredible time capsule that was extremely well taken car of for the last 34 years. Just to save you some time, EVERYTHING WORKS and it has Factory Installed Air Conditioning (needs a charge)! Yes, I was stunned.
It does not have 4 Wheel Drive, but it does have new tires and has been properly maintained with only 77,286 original miles on this truck.
Open the Clamshell Rear Doors and you have a small warehouse, put the split rear seat down and it turns into an enclosed pickup truck.
My friend had one of these in college, we used to pile in 6 football players and head for the ski area, no problem. This Suburban was the Sport Utility Vehicle of its time. Today, no one could touch them for durability, reliability, and toughness.
This is a very clean and straight example that has clearly been well cared for over the years. The body is in very good shape, with no rust, rot, holes, and in excellent condition. There are some nits and nats, but all are minor and easily repairable and they do not take much away from the elegance and true presence of this time capsule truck. The Suburban is in its original paint and it looks great. All the glass is great, and the chrome trim is in good shape as well.
The interior and rugs are also terrific, with no rips, tears, stretches, or issues. The dash is great, steering wheel feels good, and everything works as it should. The headliner is out, but you don't even notice and this is a simple fix. The tan seats excellent, the door panels are very good, and overall it is a pleasure to ride in.
We were very impressed with the condition of the car underneath. The floors, frame rails and rocker panels are in great shape, with no rust or rot. We found no evidence of accident history or previous repair underneath. This is a highly original, solid car, making it a great candidate for long-term investment and enjoyment.
It’s great on the road, too; a smooth driver with plenty of power and torque to keep up with today’s traffic while getting all the looks and waves. The engine runs strong, the transmission shifts great, and it runs perfectly.
You can us this vehicle to tow basically anything, anywhere, anytime. Whether you have a race car, boat, or horse trailer, the heavy duty brake controller is already installed along with a Class III hitch.

Out of state buyers are not charged tax, title, or license, the State of New Hampshire does not have a sales tax or surcharge. The customer is responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state.
Taxes and Fees
Our documentation and transaction fee is $99 and all sales transactions must be completed within 7 business days of auction close unless other arrangements have been made with the dealership.
Deposit
We require a $500 nonrefundable deposit within 24 hours of winning the auction and payment in full within 7 business days unless other arrangements have been made with the dealership. Please call the dealership to make arrangements for payment at the close of the auction.
Customers with zero or negative feedback on eBay Motors please contact us prior to bidding. Otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel your bid. Understand this is only to protect the integrity of the auction. Winning bidder must contact the dealership within 24 hours of the auction close to make a $500 nonrefundable deposite and must complete the purchase within 7 business days. We reserve the right to re-list or sell the vehicle in the event of a non-paying bidder.
