This 400E feels powerful with its 4.2-liter DOHC inline 8 cylinder engine capable of 275 horsepower and an average of 16 Mpg City and 22 Mpg Hwy .Squeeze down on the gaz pedal and you're rewarded with smooth and quick throttle response that's very satisfying when accelerating onto a freeway. Stomp on it at any speed and the four (4) speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and truly brings this German power-plant to life.
On the black exterior there is some sun damage and clear coat peeling off the hood, roof and trunk that would require a paint job. The rest of the body is straight and in fair condition. The four matching tires ave 80% of thread left. There is a crack at the bottom of the windshield as you can see in one of the pictures.
As you will see in the pictures, the, gray leather interior is in good condition and looks great for a 21 year old car. The leather seats have no rips or tears, just some minor wear on the drivers seat. There is absolutely no cracks on the dash. The headliner is very clean and it is not sagging at all. The carpet is clean with no major stains. The only cosmetic issue on the interior to mention is some wear on the center armrest. Included are a set of 4 OEMs rubber mats.
As far as the electronics the power windows, power door locks, power sunroof, power seats, power antenna and radio work as they should. The A/C blows Ice cold on all speed.
I have driven this car personally close to 200 miles and can verify that the engine runs strong and the automatic transmission shifts well. Unfortunately the odometer recently stopped working at 124,521 miles and therefore we will be selling this car as true miles unknown. We noticed that after 30mn to 60mn of continuous driving the oil light will come on even though the engine is full of oil, so the oil level sensor probably will need to be replaced. The coolant light stays permanently on the dash even with the coolant reservoir full of fluid, so we are assuming that the coolant level sensor is also defective. Overall I can tell you that this vehicle drives great, does not overheat, handles tight and has plenty of power throughout the gears at surface street speeds and at highway speeds up to 80mph!

This charge is to cover expenses such as temporary tags, professional detailing, mechanical inspection and overnight mailing and handling of documents related to sale. Florida law statutes mandate that any such fee must be disclosed and included in the final sale price without discrimination therefore please do not ask us to waive that fee because we cannot. With online auctions the final price is not known in advance, so please note that the amount of $249.00 will be added to the closing or agreed amount of purchase so that the final price will include the fee and such will be reflected on the bill of sale. A Buy-It-Now price on ebay does not include the $249.00 dealer processing fee.

Deposit
Buyer agrees to send a $500 Non-Refundable deposit through PayPal within 24 hours of winning the auction. Please call the dealership to make arrangements for payment.
Payment of Balance Due
Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due including applicable fees and taxes within 7 calendar days of the end of auction. If the deposit is not received within 24 hours of close of auction or if the balance has not been paid in full within 7 days following the close of auction, or alternate payment arrangements has not been made, the vehicle will be re-listed or made available to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis.All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.

Buyer Pickup
A representative from our dealership can be available for pickup at Fort Lauderdale Airport or Miami International airport when necessary. Buyers must schedule pickup prior to making travel arrangements.
Inspection
Buyers are more than welcome to inspect vehicle in person. Personal inspection and/or third-party inspection is highly recommended to avoid any misunderstandings. Buyer is responsible for payment of the inspection. No inspections will be allowed after end of the auction. Please do not assume anything and do ask any questions you might have in regard of this car, as well as ask for any additional photos that would be of special interest for you. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, asked any and as much questions they might have about the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value of the vehicle and to bid based upon that judgment solely. Therefore, any claims or disputes as a result of or relate to failure to disclose or misrepresentation are hereby waived by you.
Shipping
All shipping charges are the "Buyer's" responsibility. We are happy to assist in arranging shipping as a value added service only. We will help with the shipping arrangements but we will not be held responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage.Vehicle must be picked up within 10 calendar days of the end of auction. All vehicles that are not picked up within this time frame will be subject to storage fees in the amount of $25/day.
Vehicle Titles
We do not always have titles on hand for vehicles that are placed for sale. Titles may be in transit from banks, from other dealerships, from the state, and a host of other reasons for normal processing delays in title paperwork. We are a licensed and bonded dealer and guarantee clear and free of liens titles on all vehicles that we sell. We guarantee to supply the title for the vehicle within 30 days of the close of sale. If you need the title faster than that please contact us prior to completing the sale.
Third-Party Financing as Method of Payment
When seeking pre-approval for an auto loan please remember that most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 7 years or with more than 100,000 miles. Make sure, then, if financing, that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of the vehicle before bidding. Again, please arrange financing before bidding.
