The first "Crown Victoria" appeared in 1955; it was a two-door six-seater coupe, part of the Ford Fairlane range. It differed from the regular Victoria model, named after a type of carriage, by having a stainless steel band that 'crowned' the roofline passing right over the car as an extension of the B-pillar line. The model was produced in 1955 and 1956. MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to offer the handsome 1955 Ford Crown Victoria you see pictured. The Crown Victoria was the crowning gem of the two-tone and chrome era; now it stands as a classic symbol of the 50s. This particular car has been tastefully modified for reliability and is powered by a 5.0L 4 BBL V8 out of a 1998 Ford Finished in the correct two tone Raven Black and Snowshoe White, the car appears to have benefitted from an older professional repaint which still shows wonderfully today. The paint shows well, however; it does have minor imperfections such as rock chips. All of the trim and stainless on the car is in good condition with no major imperfections. The chrome front and rear bumpers are in excellent shape with a brilliant shine and luster. As mentioned before, the car shows very well and is worthy of any car show! Inside, the interior is correct with two tone black and white vinyl and cloth seats. Both the front and rear seats are in great condition and show only minor wear. The door panels are also finished in two tone black and white vinyl and are also in good shape, showing only minor wear. The color combination looks great and complements the exterior. The black carpet looks excellent, as does the white vinyl headliner. The two tone black and white painted dash is absolutely beautiful and really sets off the interior of the car! All of the original gauges, the AM radio and clock are still intact! Under the hood, you will find a newer 5.0L V8 engine out of a 1998 Ford. The engine was swapped for reliability purposes and sounds great! This Ford does come equipped with power steering. The engine compartment is very tidy and not overly detailed. Attached to the engine is an automatic transmission, complete with overdrive.. This Victoria is very cool with subtle modern touches. The Crown Victoria sits upon a set of 15” red steel wheels with chrome Ford hubcaps on them. The wheels are wrapped in P215/75R15 tires that look great. This car would make an excellent Sunday driver or a superb addition to any classic car collection. The VIN is U5DW126806 and the mileage currently shows 6,280. It is being sold on a clean and clear, mileage exempt Wyoming title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
