What we have here is a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado Jon Moss Signature Series RST with 3700 miles on the odometer.  The Moss signature truck is an extension of the Regency RST series of pickups that were available through Chevrolet and GMC dealers.  It’s dedicated to the ’69 Camaro Indy Pace Car and the orange racing stripes on a white body are the first clues to the classic Camaro connection.

This 2006 Chevrolet Silverado Jon Moss Signature Series RST is in collector condition and is one of about 200 ever made in this configuration and personally signed by Moss. Regency worked with designer Chip Foose and Moss to develop a performance package for GM pickups. Foose’s main contributions were the front and rear spoilers and the wheels while Moss focused on the performance enhancements.  Goals for the RST included low cost, improved handling and retro styling cues. The 2006 RST evolved into the Jon Moss Signature Series with a single classic Chevy musclecar as the sole inspiration.

In addition to the white body and orange racing stripes, the exterior is also enhanced with Foose-designed chromed alloy 20-inch wheels and P265/50-20 Goodyear Eagle RS-A performance tires. Other features include huge Baer brakes crossdrilled and vented rotors, True Flow air intake system, JBA ceramic coated shorty headers, Corsa exhaust, 3:73 gears, Locking rear end, chromed door handles, billet aluminum grille and spoiler insert, color-keyed mirrors, tailgate spoiler and rear roll pan with molded exhaust opening.

The standard Chevy Silverado was shipped to Regency’s 250,000-square-foot facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Regency options included power windows/lock, tilt steering, cruise control and an AM/FM/CD radio. This particular truck has the $2,000 5.3-liter V8 option with an automatic transmisson.  The Regency craftsmen reformed the bench seat, adding armrests and skinned it in leather and ‘69 Camaro SS houndstooth-fabric. The steering wheel, passenger grab bar and door panels also get the leather treatment with baseball stitching.

Other interior features include black carpet, tinted windows and carbon-fiber-style dash trim. The instrument panel faceplate is made from stainless steel and sets off the red illuminated gauges and needles. Moss personally signs each faceplate before installation.  This is a limited edition truck and your opportunity to own one in this condition may well be limited to this particular truck!
