We are a small  licensed used car and truck dealer in that me (Hans) and my business partner Denis opened in Westport Massachusetts. I have 26 plus years experience in the automotive field. Denis also has 20 plus years in the automotive field as well. I think are combined knowledge helps us really know what we are buying and more importantly selling.I Started in the GM dealerships and then went out on my own and opened a small repair shop which I operated for 20 plus years. I then went into the used car and truck business with the knowledge I gained in the repair field. We both inspect our vehicles personally in our shop . Up for bid is a 1997 Ford Superduty 15000 GVW bucket truck . This is a just out of service Verizon fleet truck . I have found there fleet maintenance to be extremely good as we do safety check inspections and find there vehicles to be in great shape. This truck has the 7.5 big block 460 gas engine and automatic transmission with only 125K miles. Truck runs well and shifts great . It does have a small leak at the water pump which will be repaired for the winning bidder. It has just about brand brakes up front and the rears are just about new as well. It does have a small exhaust manifold leak not bad . The front tires are just about new and the rears don't have too much life left but will go for a while. (see pictures) The body is in good shape overall with some scratches and dings and just a little rust on the bottom of the fender. The undercarriage is solid with some scale to be expected with a northeast truck , Nothing structural . Remember you are getting an honest description so you will be an informed buyer. The bucket operates well from both control points. The generator-hydraulic pump runs well and starts with ease. It also has an electric back up for the bucket in case there was an issue with the main pump . The bucket has a working height of 30 feet and rotates 360 degrees. Very handy for any number of jobs. The utility body is fiberglass and has ample storage for all kinds of equipment. I should mention that this truck does not have A/C .
