1972 Chevy Custom Show Truck Hot Rod. 1,000 man hours in build. Show winner.

This show truck was built from a labor of love. This hot rod went through a significant customization to enhance the lines of the original 1972 Chevy Truck with a modern touch. Built for the Detroit Autorama Show where it took THIRD PLACE behind a $500K Impala and a $200K 32 Ford Hot Rod!

Built from 2008-2010 this truck was completely gone through, customized and restored including:

-Original 1972 Chevy Half Ton Shortbed body. Sub frame w 2" tubing in the rear.  All steel. Fenders, cowl etc all 72. Custom integrated Silverado front grill. 72 chevy hood. 100% hand-built and all steel.

-Rebuilt 350 V8. Chrome dress up kit. Custom covers painted and pinstriped. Custom air cleaner.

-Custom exhaust with headers that go up and over the frame and 3" pipe embedded into body. Looks amazing and sounds INCREDIBLE.

-Power Steering.

-Power Brakes.

-Taken down to bare metal, prepped and painted professionally. Body is straight. Lines are awesome.

-Custom door handle on drivers side, shaved on passenger side.

-Custom pinstriping throughout.

-Old school original patina / fauxtina tailgate used and customized. Called the “Floating Tailgate”.

-Custom LED lights throughout. Rear ropes and LED integrated into brake lights. Demands attention.

-Reclaimed barn wood custom cut and integrated into bed. Patina / Old School inner fenders custom pinstriped.

-Restored steel wheels with 8” moons from a semi truck gives it that old school hot rod look.

PLEASE READ REGARDING CLASSIC CARS!

We do not recommend driving a classic car home.

Old cars are just that, old cars. You need to ship it home. Out on the road, many miles from home is not the place to get familiar with your old car. Obviously we cannot stop you, but this is our recommendation.

Mileage is Exempt.

Unless we have some documentation we always sell classic cars as mileage exempt. That means we do not know the original miles. What we list in the ad is what the odometer currently reads or is based off rebuild information of the engine and or body/chassis. Also, you cannot do a Carfax or Autocheck on any VEHICLE older than a 1981.

You have to call us with any questions. If you email several questions we will tell you to call. If you are serious about buying a vehicle, you need to call us.
