This is an incredibly clean 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 with the 5.3L Vortec V8 Engine and Automatic Transmission. This is a very tight and very solid truck that has always been very well cared for and is in extremely good condition. The engine is very strong and doesn't smoke, doesn't leak, and doesn't burn any oil. This truck's transmission shifts perfect. No rattles, vibrations, or any other strange noises. You'll be amazed at how well this truck drives - it is extremely tight. Everything works perfect. As you can tell from all the pictures, this is a very nice truck. No rust anywhere top or bottom. All body panels and paint are original and the truck looks great.

I bought this Tahoe for my wife to drive back in September 2011. At that time, she had been driving a Toyota 4-Runner for a while and our little boy was getting to be a few months old, so it was time for something a little bigger. We decided on a 2003-2006 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 with the Z71 package. I'm very familiar with these trucks so I set out to find the nicest, tightest one I could possible acquire - regardless of miles. I looked for a few months before we bought this truck, and I looked at a lot of Tahoe Z71's - many of them with around 100k miles or less. When I found this one, I was absolutely blown away by how well it had been maintained and the overall condition of everything on it. It came from a retired couple in Tennessee who were the second owners and bought it in 2005 with 63k miles on it. It has been garage kept since "Day 1" and continues to be even now. This engine has seen nothing but synthetic oil since new and the preventative maintenance has been kept up with extremely well - even down to power steering fluid changes. I doubt you'll find one that's been taken care of as well as this one. Let me give you an idea of how well we've kept it serviced in the last 22 months/22k miles we've owned it (All Replacement Parts are OEM-spec AC Delco):

September 2011:  New keyless entry remote and extra key from dealer.

November 2011 at 177k:  Oil Change (Castrol Synthetic 10w30)

December 2011 at 179k:  4 New Tires Mounted and Computer Balanced (BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO; LT265/70/17)

April 2012 at 181k:  Front Door Windows Tinted to 35%, New Serpentine Belt, New Belt Tensioner, Oil Change, New Oil Filter Housing Gasket, Carbon Cleaned from inside the engine and fuel system flushed, New Fuel Filter, Front and Rear Differentials Serviced, Transfer Case Serviced.

June 2012 at 186k:  New Fuel Pump

November 2012 at 189k:  Oil Changed, Tires Rotated and Computer Balanced, New Rear Brake Pads and Rotors.

July 2013 at 197k:  New Pitman Arm, Oil Changed

At every oil change and service interval, all driveline components have been closely checked and serviced as needed. This has been my wife's vehicle and I'm very particular about maintenance already, so you can imagine nothing was overlooked. This Tahoe is ready for another 200k miles and is ready to drive wherever you want to take it. We've always run 91 or 93 octane premium fuel since we've owned it, just as the previous owners did. Interestingly, this particular truck was optioned with the fairly rare Flex Fuel ethanol-friendly 5.3L V8, so it can run on E85 ethanol if desired. With the government mandating up to 10% ethanol in all of our gasolines already, I tend to think this special engine option makes this truck that much more desirable since the ethanol won't harm this engine at all.

When we got this truck, my mechanic was so impressed by the oil pressure reading that he temporarily installed a mechanical fuel pressure test gauge to see if the Tahoe's oil pressure gauge was reading accurately - and it was. This engine is incredibly tight and shows virtually no wear at all.

Even though this truck is 4x4 and even has the Z71 Off-Road package with skid plates and locking rear differential, it hasn't ever been off road - nor has it ever seen any mud or anything else like that. I took pictures of the undercarriage so you can see how nice it is even on the bottom - no leaks, dirt, or mud anywhere at all.

The interior is in excellent condition. Everything looks great and all the upholstery is original and in excellent condition with no tears or stains anywhere. Only very slight wear on the edge of the driver's seat. All the power options work perfect with no issues. The A/C is cold and the Heat is hot. No strange smells and never smoked in, just very clean and well kept.

The exterior is also excellent. All the paint looks great and there isn't any damage anywhere. One small rock chip in the windshield (pictured; sealed to prevent spreading) and a small scuff/ding on the rear bumper (pictured), but this truck really looks great. No dents or door dings. No rust at all. All body panels are original and all paint appears to be original also. No evidence of any previous accidents or fender benders. The Carfax Report is also perfectly clean.

Why am I selling it? I just bought my wife a new (to us) Lexus that she's been dreaming of for quite a long time, and we don't need an extra vehicle. If it weren't for that, this Tahoe wouldn't be going anywhere for a long time. We've been married for over 6 years and we've never kept any vehicle for a personal driver as long as we've kept this Tahoe. It has been a great truck.
