Description
For 2009, the GMC Acadia, a full-size crossover SUV, offers a more powerful engine, The Acadia boasts a new 3.6L V6 engine with direct injection that generates 288 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. The FWD Acadia achieves an EPA fuel economy estimate of 17 mpg city/24 mpg hwy and 19 mpg in combined driving. When properly equipped, the towing capability of the GMC Acadia is 4,500 pounds. Standard safety equipment includes antilock disc brakes, stability control, front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and the OnStar communications system. Spacious and highly versatile, the GMC Acadia seats up to eight passengers. GMC Acadia standard features and options include an extensive list of comfort and convenience features, such as a power liftgate, a heads-up display and front and rear air-conditioning.
