Here's an outstanding 1955 2 door post gasser with big block power and a 5 speed! This beauty was a featured build in issue 77 of Gasser Wars magazine! It's powered by a 1970 LS6 block 468ci V8 and a Tremec TKO 600 5 speed manual transmission! The engine was built proper with a steel crank, CP pistons, Comp 595 lift solid lifter cam, Merlin iron heads, an Edelbrock Air Gap intake manifold, a Holley 800cfm carburetor, Smith Bros 7/16 push rods, Pete Jackson gear drive, Weiand aluminum water pump, Harland Sharpe roller rockers, ARP head bolts, Melling AV oil pump, an 8 quart oil pan, a Hays clutch, Taylor wires and Raja ends, and M/T valve covers! It also has an additional electric pusher fan to keep this thing nice and cool! The rear end is a 12 bolt with Richmond 3:73 gears, an Eaton posi unit, and Dutchman axles. It has front and rear 11 inch disc brakes from Speedway, and a Lakewood straight axle with 1949 Chevy spindles. The interior has full diamond tuck upholstery, new carpet, 66 Chevelle bucket seats, Stewart Warner gauges, and a Moon tachometer. There's also an aluminum fuel cell and an Optima battery in the trunk. This is an incredible 60's style build with a fiberglass tilt front end, cheater slicks, huge dual exhaust, and extremely nice paint, glass and chrome! This one is already done and ready to drive!
