The date was April 25, 1925 and on that date the Ford Motor Company introduced their first factory produced pickup truck. This new model was officially called the Ford Model T Runabout with Pickup Body. And Ford priced this new truck at $281.00 F.O.B. Detroit. In basic terms this new Ford was a roadster type pickup with an all steel bed that was 56 inches long, 40 inches wide, and 13 inches high. The sides of the bed had pockets for stakes and the tailgate was adjustable. If you wanted, or needed, a longer heavier duty pickup truck you could opt for a Model TT (1 ton rated) Ford truck with an 8 foot long Express Body. Motoexotica Classic Cars is offering another great classic 1927 Ford Model T Pickup. Finished in all black from the exterior to the interior, the truck even has a black wooden bed which is in great shape. The paint is great shape, showing only minor imperfections. Overall, the Model T shows very well. All the wood in the bed looks great painted black and shows no signs of rot. The steel fenders are in very good condition with some very, very minor paint imperfections but overall they look great. The paint on the truck is in overall good condition and it shows very well! The black vinyl bench seat looks great. It is in very good shape with no wear or tear. The painted metal dash and door panels are all in great shape. The black vinyl top is in good condition. The dashboard only shows an amp gauge. The Inline 4 cylinder motor runs great. This is an electric start truck and is on a 6 volt system. The brakes work well and the manual transmission performs as it should. The black 21” wheels are in great condition and are wrapped with 4.50-4.75-21 tires that are in good overall condition. There is a spare tire on the driver’s side. The VIN number is 13887154. It is being sold on a clean and clear Nebraska title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
