Texas is a title holding state. Some titles take up to 21 days to receive from lien holders. Titles that are paid for by cashier’s check are held up to 10 business days for checks to clear. When buying sight unseen and having it shipped, you have 2 days from the time you take possession or 200 additional miles on the odometer to inspect the vehicle and to contact us about canceling the deal. Buyer will be responsible for the cost of shipping the vehicle back to our store and a $195 processing fee. All funds and any prior payment will be refunded. Buyer will be responsible for any damage that occurs while vehicle is in their possession. Once again, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase.

Fees and Tax Information: Texas buyers will be charged state and local Taxes, Inventory Tax, Title, Registration, Administration and Documentary fees. Texas buyers pay 6.25% sales tax. All sales are subject to Texas Vehicle Inventory Tax (VIT) based at .001813 of purchase price. For example, the VIT for a $10,000 purchase is $18.13 Out of state buyers are NOT charged sales Tax, Title, or Registration fees. The customer is responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state. All buyers pay Inventory tax and $195 for Administration & Documentary fee. Winning Bidder:
Winning bidder must contact the dealership within 24 hours of the auction close and the purchase transaction completed within 7 days.
Winning bidder is to fill out and email back the Electronic Forms we send you right after the auction end. Name, address, telephone #, fax #, as you want it on bill of sell and title paper work. If you are having a lien holder please email or fax bank name, contact person, address, telephone # and fax #. We reserve the right to re-list or sell the vehicle in the event of a non-paying bidder.
Customers with zero or negative feedback on eBay Motors please contact us prior to bidding. Otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel your bid. Understand this is only to protect the integrity of the auction.
Buyer Pickup:
A representative from our dealership can be available for pickup at area airports when necessary. Buyers must schedule pickup prior to making travel arrangements
Shipping:
We work with excellent shipping companies that offer door to door delivery with the lowest prices available. $500 to $1790 to most cities within the United States (including the Canadian Border cities).
Please keep in mind Lonestar Automart is NOT a shipping company but we can gladly assist you with it as a service only.
We can arrange and get you a lower shipping rate due to our volume.
Shipping process starts right after the total amount due is paid in full.
Shipping takes 1-week in most cases and 2-weeks in some cases. We make sure to get a condition report on your vehicle from the shipper before they leave.
We make sure they provide us with copy of their insurance or bond before they pick up the vehicle. All the paper work is kept in your file just in case you need copy of any item.
