1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible for sale. This beautiful Montero Red, black interior and black convertible top is equipped with a 389 c.i. Tri-Power V-8 and automatic transmission with a 3:23 rear-end ratio.
This beautiful GTO came from the factory in Candlelite Cream and was repainted Montero Red around 2005; you would never know that it didn’t come from the factory Red. About that same time, the Tri-Power was added during the ground up restoration and other equipment: power steering, power brakes with BF Goodrich Redline tires mounted to original factory wheels.
Of the 96,946 GTO’s produced in 1966, only 12,798 were convertibles. The complete PHS report is available to document this. This convertible GTO really drives nice, just got back from a freeway cruise at 65 mph top down getting thumbs up from everyone who I passed!
