In 1977 GM significantly down-sized their full sized cars. The Fleetwood Brougham rode on the same 121.5" wheelbase and were powered by the 425ci V8. This engine was basically a de-bored version of the 472/500 V8 of previous years. Compared with the 1976 Fleetwood Sixty Special Brougham, the Fleetwood Brougham had a wheelbase 11.5" shorter and weighed nearly 900 lb less.

The Fleetwood Brougham was considered the top of the line Cadillac but was virtually identical to the lesser Sedan De Ville. Other than the name, the only exterior differences between a Fleetwood Brougham and Sedan De Ville were the hubcaps and the hood ornament and the extension of the vinyl roof through the "b-pillar" giving a more formal look. The interior of the Fleetwood was more plush and offered more features as standard.

The 1978 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham you see here is everything that you would expect out of an old school Cadillac … and more! This car shows only 43,079 miles and nearly everything is believed to be original! You will have a hard time finding a car as straight and sound as this one! The car is finished in the original shade of tan with a brown vinyl top and the paint is as beautiful and shiny as the day it rolled off the line in Detroit. All the chrome around the car, including both bumpers, shine bright and have no notable pitting or scratches.

The interior of this car is just shy of being immaculate. The brown leather seats are as luxurious as any new Cadillac out on the road today, with no wear marks or anything. The dash board is in excellent, original condition, complete with wood grain. You’ll also find that this Cadillac comes equipped with AC, Cruise Control and Power Windows, just to name a few.

Under the hood, you will find a 425ci, 4 barrel carb engine, connected to the automatic transmission. The engine is capable of producing 180 horsepower, making any drive in this Cadillac a smooth one. This beauty also has power steering to make turns with ease and power brakes for quick starts.

The original Cadillac wheels are wrapped in newer P225/75SR15 tires that appear to have no signs of dry rot or cracking. The VIN number on the car is 6B69S8Q309310 and the mileage shows 43,079, which is believed to be original.

This agreement to arbitrate shall survive the sale of the automobile described herein. Buyer and Seller hereby agree that Missouri law shall control for all purposes under this Bill of Sale. Buyer and Seller hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Missouri to specifically enforce the agreement to arbitrate and to enter judgment of and enforce the award of the arbitrator. All above terms and conditions are applied to vehicle sales, whether through Ebay or otherwise. Sorry, but in all fairness to the bidding process, I will NOT disclose my reserve price until the auction has ended.

Payment Terms
Payment must be made by Cashiers Check, Money Orders or Wire Transfers payable in US Dollars. A Refundable deposit in the amount of $500.00 must be received within Twenty-Four(24)hours of the auctions close either by Master Card, Visa or PayPal. The buyer has seven(7) days from close of auction to inspect the vehicle. If the vehicle is not to your liking within this seven day inspection period then your deposit will be refunded 100%. If an inspection or decision takes longer then seven days and you find the vehicle not to your liking, your deposit will be forfeited and the car will be relisted. Final payment must be received within ten (10) days of the auction close. The refundable deposit only applies if you or an agent inspect said vehicle in St. Louis and find it not to your liking. I will not be responsible for buyers remorse or problems found to said vehicle once they have left my property. I am just being realistic, most of the cars I deal in are vintage and by their very nature will need TLC and some degree of attention sooner or later. These are not new cars and should not be treated as such. Once full payment has been received, Seller will fax a copy of clear title, Bill of sale, Buyers guide and additional DMV forms to the Buyer to sign and return via fax. The forms must be returned to the Seller prior to the shipment of said vehicle. Original paperwork will be sent to Buyer Via overnight mail seven(7)days from date of final payment. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received. Once a car is picked up from our premises, you will NOT be able to return the car.

Overseas shipments will be placed into a steel container for safe sea passage. We take care of all the details and paperwork. All you have to do is collect the car at port and enjoy!
