          The Jaguar S-Types are perfectly positioned between the XJ8 sedans and the X-Types as its mid range car. The S-Type came in either the 3.0L V6 and the 4.0-4.2L V8's. The S-Type has a 3.0L DOHC 24 Valve V6 that is installed in other vehicles but thanks to engine tweaks it has 40 more horsepower with a total of 240 horsepower. With the 5 Speed Automatic, it has excellent acceleration along with low highway cruising for great fuel mileage.
