The MGB is a sports car launched by MG Cars in May 1962 to replace the MGA. Introduced as a four-cylinder roadster, a coup'e with 2+2 seating was added in 1965. The six-cylinder MGC debuted in 1967; a later derivative fitted with the Buick-based Rover V8 was made from 1973 to 1976. MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present the handsome 1978 MG B Tourer that you see pictured. This MG may be one of the nicest complete restorations that we’ve come across! It benefitted from a recent complete restoration, has been meticulously cared for by the previous owner and has had some tasteful upgrades. Please pay attention to the fit and finish on this car as it is in show quality condition and unlike most MGBs. Finished in red, the paint is in great shape and we are hard pressed to find imperfections! The rocker panels have gold MG accents and compliment the red paint perfectly! The tan vinyl convertible top is in great shape and shows no staining or any notable imperfections. The black bumpers are in excellent shape, as well as the chrome trunk rack. Overall, this is one incredible looking MG! Inside, you’ll see that the tan vinyl interior is impeccable. The seats are in excellent condition and show no signs of wear or tear. The carpet, door panels and dashboard are all also in excellent condition. The dashboard houses the original gauges and also an AM/FM/Cassette player. Under the hood, you’ll find the 1798cc engine that has been tastefully modified to house a Kent camshaft. Attached to the engine is a 4-speed manual with overdrive. This car is equipped with cruise control, power brakes and front disc brakes. The car sits upon a set of 14” MG wheels that look great wrapped in P135/70R14 tires in the front and P195/70R14 tires in the rear. This is truly an immaculate MG and as mentioned before, may be one of the nicest ones we’ve ever come across! The VIN is GHN5UJ460099G and the mileage currently shows 7,605. It is being sold on a clean and clear Missouri title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
