The Mercedes-Benz W140 is a series of flagship vehicles that were manufactured by the German automotive company Mercedes-Benz. In December 1990, Mercedes-Benz unveiled the W140 S-Class via press release, later appearing in several February and March editions of magazines. The W140 made its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1991, with the first examples rolling off the production line in April 1991 and North American examples on August 6, 1991. Short (SE) and long (SEL) wheelbase sedans were offered initially, as well as the coup'e (SEC) body style from October 1992. Like all Mercedes-Benz lines, the W140 S-Class was rationalized in late 1993 using the new "letter-first" nomenclature. The SE, SEL, and SEC cars were renamed the S-Class, with alphanumerical designations inverted. For example, the 500 SE became the S 500, and the 500 SEL became the S 500 L. In 1996 the coup'e models following a mid-life update were separated into the CL-Class. The W140 series S-Class was superseded by the W220 S-Class sedan and C215 CL-Class coupe in 1999 after an eight-year production run.

Mercedes-Benz built 432,732 examples of the 140 series, comprising 406,710 sedans and 26,022 coup'es.

With only 18,357 original miles, the car is in great condition with no major imperfections. The Diamond Blue paint is in very good original condition and shows no major imperfections. The front and rear bumpers both look great with no damage. This particular 300SE comes equipped with a sunroof.

The gray leather interior looks great. The carpets, seats, dash and door panels are in excellent condition showing no damage or major wear. All power windows work as well as the radio and seat belt retractors. The climate control works as it should and still blows ice cold.

Under the hood, the 3.2 liter Inline 6 Cylinder engine was brand new for 1993 with a new 24 valve configuration. The motor is extremely clean and original. No damage or aftermarket add on parts to be found. Turn the key and the car starts right up with no hesitation. On the road the car performs like a Mercedes should. It is very smooth on the road with tight steering and solid brakes. The automatic transmission shifts smooth and will let you cruise at 80 mph all day long. The 300SE sits upon a set of 16” Mercedes wheels wrapped in P225/60R16 tires that look great. This car has 4-wheel disc brakes.

This agreement to arbitrate shall survive the sale of the automobile described herein. Buyer and Seller hereby agree that Missouri law shall control for all purposes under this Bill of Sale. Buyer and Seller hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Missouri to specifically enforce the agreement to arbitrate and to enter judgment of and enforce the award of the arbitrator. All above terms and conditions are applied to vehicle sales, whether through Ebay or otherwise. Sorry, but in all fairness to the bidding process, I will NOT disclose my reserve price until the auction has ended.

Payment Terms
Payment must be made by Cashiers Check, Money Orders or Wire Transfers payable in US Dollars. A Refundable deposit in the amount of $500.00 must be received within Twenty-Four(24)hours of the auctions close either by Master Card, Visa or PayPal. The buyer has seven(7) days from close of auction to inspect the vehicle. If the vehicle is not to your liking within this seven day inspection period then your deposit will be refunded 100%. If an inspection or decision takes longer then seven days and you find the vehicle not to your liking, your deposit will be forfeited and the car will be relisted. Final payment must be received within ten (10) days of the auction close. The refundable deposit only applies if you or an agent inspect said vehicle in St. Louis and find it not to your liking. I will not be responsible for buyers remorse or problems found to said vehicle once they have left my property. I am just being realistic, most of the cars I deal in are vintage and by their very nature will need TLC and some degree of attention sooner or later. These are not new cars and should not be treated as such. Once full payment has been received, Seller will fax a copy of clear title, Bill of sale, Buyers guide and additional DMV forms to the Buyer to sign and return via fax. The forms must be returned to the Seller prior to the shipment of said vehicle. Original paperwork will be sent to Buyer Via overnight mail seven(7)days from date of final payment. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received. Once a car is picked up from our premises, you will NOT be able to return the car.
