This 1968 Pontiac LeMans was purchased by a local woman about 13 years ago with the dream of restoring it to its original glory. The vehicle, at the time, was a sight for sore eyes and so began the restoration process. 3 years after being purchased the work started. The motor was replaced with a 350 Chevy crate motor. A 350 Turbo Transmission with HD Shift Kit was installed. It received a new paint job including all parts of the frame on the car and even the engine compartment, door jams, etc. The convertible top was re-done and the entire interior was re-upholstered. Due to previous damage, the dash was replaced and gauges off of another LeMans were installed. There had been so much rust when it was purchased that it got all new Rear Quarter Panels, new Inner Fender Wells and a bunch of new metal was installed on all rusted parts of the car. The Grille of the car, Headlights, Rear bumper and emblems are all original. It also has a new dual exhaust. The tires were replaced during restoration, it has Centerline rims, and it has only been driven about once or twice a year for local car shows. It has never been driven in bad weather and has always been kept completely covered and garaged since the restoration. The restoration, however, is only 75% complete and the owner no longer has the time to finish it and doesn’t drive it as much as she had hoped she would be able to. She wants this car to be enjoyed and showed by someone who has the time and appreciation for it.

The following are things that need replaced on the car to make it complete:

• Weather stripping around the doors, windows (drivers and passenger) and trunk
• Re-wiring needs done for stock gauges. (None of the gauges on the dash work) The new gauges installed all work.
• Interior piece for the trunk
• Metal piece around the boot for the convertible top
• Wipers (arms and blades)
• Lines that run to the pump for the power convertible top. (pump works fine)

Disclosures: There is a dent on the passenger side front fender (see photos). And there is a possible slight leak from the oil pan and transmission pan due to the car sitting so much.
