The GMC Sierra is the American truck and this is one of the finest examples I have seen. This beautiful all original 1997 GMC Sierra SLT is about as perfect as you will find for a 16 year old truck. Traded to us last week by an older gentleman who knew how to preserve and maintain a truck. The Sierra starts perfectly each time and runs like new. The transmission shifts perfectly with no slips or noise. The miles are correct with only 87k and it shows inside and out. The exterior looks great and the original paint looks good. There is some fading due to age on the hood and top at 10 feet you will not see it. Please refer to the pictures to see for yourself the worst is on the passenger side top edge and rear door section. It has very few dings and scratches which is very unusual for a truck this age. I pictured a small ding(the worst) on the passenger side its hardly noticeable. The paint and body reflects the overall high standards each owner had for this truck and I have no doubt that is stayed inside for most of its life. The interior is immaculate. The leather shows hardly any wear for the age of the truck. The carpet has limited stains and looks great. The dash is like new and all of the other interior pieces are near perfect. We still have the original Owner's Manual and rubber floor mats. All of the electrical options are in perfect working order; AC is Cold, Heat is Hot, Radio works, Windows and locks work perfectly. The factory alloy wheels look above average for the age and the Michelin tires have over 50% tread remaining. Overall this 1997 GMC Sierra is one of the nicest you will ever see, don't delay this truck will not last long.
