You are looking at a restored 1979 Jeep CJ-7, most of the hard work has been done it still needs some details to finish it up first class.
The Good:
The body was stripped and painted with PPG base coat clear coat, the paint is show quality for a Jeep. The roll bar and the full hard top was painted inside and out. The interior was coverd with spray in bed liner as well as the firewall and under the hood. The spare tire carrier has been gloss black powdercoated. The engine is a 350 chevy truck block, .30 over with new flat top pistons, RV cam, bearings and gaskets. The exhaust manifolds have been ceramic coated to keep them looking nice.
New carb and intake round out the engine. The transmission is rebuilt Turbo 400 automatic with a rebuilt NP 205 Transfer case. (standard Transmission and gear Ft. Worth Texas). The rear axle has been upgraded with one piece flange style axles with new bearings and seals.
It has power disc brakes, power steering, cold A/c with a modern Sandin compressor. New radiator with twin electric cooling fans, motor runs smooth and sounds great. The seats new high back bestop vinyl buckets. It has a full hard top and hard doors, all the glass is excellent. It has nice white face gages on the dash and the factory tach still works.
The Bad:
It has a new antenna but needs to have a radio and speakers installed, it needs the door straps to be installed and attached to the doors.
The blinkers do not work
The wheels are dull and need to be polished
It does not have a back seat or rear seatbelts.
It needs a spare tire and jack
This jeep has had alot of excellent work done to it, it needs the minor details done to be perfect. If you are looking for a really excellent jeep and you dont mind doing some of the details yourself this is an excellent choice. While we make every effort to accurately describe our vehicles, please understand you are purchasing a used motorcycle. They come with no warranty express or implied from our dealership. However, the bike you purchase may have factory warranty remaining. Texas Best Used Motorcycles also offers extended warranties for your piece of mind. We encourage all buyers to look at the bike in person or order an inspection by a third party prior to the auction ending. A $500 partial payment is due immediately. Buyer must contact our office within 24 hours of auction close. The balance must be received within 7 business days via wire transfer, cash, or check. All checks are subject to 10 day hold. All bidders with 0 or negative feedback must contact us prior to bidding. Otherwise, your bid may be canceled. If these terms are not adhered to, we reserve the right to relist or otherwise sell the vehicle.
