The B-series pickup trucks were sold from 1948-1953. They replaced the prewar Dodge Truck and were replaced by the Dodge C Series in 1954. The B Series trucks came in several different variants. The B1-B were 1/2 ton trucks standard with a 95 hp flathead-straight-six engine while the B1-C were 3/4 ton trucks with a standard 108 hp flathead-straight 6 engine. It also came in several other variants such as the B1-T and B1-V which were semi-truck cabs and vans, respectively. MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this handsome 1952 Dodge B3C-116 Stake Bed Truck you see pictured. This is a true, 29,609 original mile truck with the documentation included! This truck has spent a good portion of its life garaged and only was driven once a year in the annual Thanksgiving Day parade. The truck is finished in a dark green paint which is in great condition and only shows a few minor imperfections. The previous owner did a touch up on the front passenger side fender that we found but still shows well. The body is exceptionally solid and sound, as a massive, yesteryear work truck should be! The wooden stake bed of the truck is painted dark green to match the body and it looks great! The bed is 7’6” long and 6’6” wide. The truck has black bumpers that only show minor imperfections and compliment the dark green paint handsomely. The running boards on the truck were standard in 1952 and look great. Inside, you will find that the entire interior is original with the exception of the seat bottom which has been reupholstered. The seats are finished in a brown vinyl material which looks great and period correct. The door panels are color matched to the exterior and have brown leather panels on the upper portion of the door. The headliner appears to be original, as well as the stitched sun visors, both of which look good, showing only minor imperfections. The dashboard is also color matched to the exterior and is in good condition, showing on minor imperfections. The dash still houses the original gauges that look awesome. Under the side-opening hood, you will find the Flathead 6 cylinder engine attached to a 3 speed manual with a column shifter. The electrical system has been upgraded to a 12 volt system with an alternator. The truck sits upon a set of painted yellow 15” Dodge wheels wrapped in 7.00-15LT tires. The truck has four wheel drum brakes. As mentioned, this is a true, 29,609 original mileage truck. The VIN is 83383913 and the B-Series truck is being sold on a clean and clear title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
