I have decided to thin out the heard. Up for sale is a 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk with a supercharged Studebaker 289 V8 mated to a 4 speed. It is an older restoration that shows very well. The paint is shiny and straight as an arrow the colors are original to the car which makes it the most desirable color combination for this car. There are 2 spots that show small paint bubbles one is near the antenna and the other is on the lower front fender next to the passenger door (see pictures) other than that the body and paint are in excellent condition. Chrome is in excellent condition as well, 3 of the stainless-steel wheel well moldings have small dents (see pictures). The windows are tinted, and a third break light was added for safety. The interior and head liner are in excellent condition, the windows need a little help when they are raised due to not being operated much. What makes this car SO SPECIAL is that it was converted to a 4 speed this really makes it fun to drive. Engine and transmission operate as they should Mechanically the car is in excellent condition I recently had the radiator re-cored and installed a rebuilt starter and a new battery. The fuel gauge is inaccurate when it reads 3/4 it is full and when it reads 1/4 it is empty all the other gauges read well. Underneath the car it is all original with no rust. It was a California car most of its life. There are the usual leaks from an old car. It has manual steering and breaks. The tires are bias ply original style they are older tires with flat spots from sitting so I would say they should be replaced. Tread is good as they only have about 1500 miles on them. There is a hidden audio CD disc changer in the trunk. A car cover is included. The car is being sold as is where is, so I encourage you to inspect it in person. I have added the engine number that verified that it is the original engine to the car.
