For Sale: 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 "Stepnose" 

This car was rebuilt over the course of the past few years and began as the shell of a 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000. It has been rebuilt to resemble the iconic Stepnose of the mid-late 1960s and is in perfect running condition. 

The car is essentially brand new and has been built with racing and track use in mind but is 100% street legal in Michigan. 

The engine is a 2 liter with "track day" cams. Lightened flywheel. Weber DCOE 40 Carbs. Stainless header and exhaust. Full Alfaholics GTAR front race suspension with 2 1/4 spring kit. Solid mount aluminum T-bar rear suspension. Hard polyurethane bushings on all suspension points. QA1 adjustable coil over shocks on all 4 corners. Alfaholics billet bias brake pedal box. Rear axle rebuilt with all new bearings and seals. 

ATL SP-112 12 gallon fuel safe fuel cell. 15" GTA replica wheels.

Paint is brand new and the car is absolutely 100% rust free. 

Hood and trunk are both fiberglass and lightweight. 

Very little remains to be done on the car to make it 100% complete to include: 

* Front light pods (running lights, indicators) and grommets behind the main headlights need to be replaced. 

* speedometer cable needs to be installed (hooked to trans and routed to dial)

* sideview mirror needs to be installed  

* windshield wiper motor needs to be connected to switch (all electronics etc. are already in car)

Please note, the used odometer installed in the build shows 78,356 miles but the car and engine have a total of ~75 miles of road use since the build was finished and the car was registered in Michigan.

History - I don't have any historical records prior to the most recent rebuild but do know the car was rebuilt once in the early 2000's and was later rear ended and wedged between two cars. The resulting shell is what was used to create the current Stepnose GTA restomod you see here. All records, receipts etc. used in the build will be included with the sale.
