The 1997 NSX-T was a greatly improved model over the previous iterations.  The engine was upgraded to a 3.2 Liter V-6 and the transmission was upped to six gears.  There were a myriad of additional improvements that refined an already outstanding automobile.  The production numbers were very low for 1997, a total of 338 units made for the US market.  This is one of 37 Formula Red with Camel Tan Leather interior.  She was originally purchased on 07/30/1998 from Jay Wolfe Acura in Kansas City.  The current owner purchased the car on August 2, 2000 with 30,700 miles.

The COMPTECH Performance upgrades were performed in August and September 1998 by the service department at Jay Wolfe Acura at 7570 miles.  The Supercharger, exhaust and suspension components all from COMPTECH have receipts for the upgrades to total over $39,000.00.  We have a full and complete file of every service on her from day one.  Her entire history is documented.  Kaizenspeed in Kennewick Washington dyno tested her in May 2015 with 56,000 miles on her.  She put out 377.4 HP at the rear wheels!

The current service was performed in May 2024 by Kaizenspeed following the recommendations of Science of Speed.  This included the SOS Major Service kit:

In addition to all of the mechanical services the car also received new tires in May of 2024, they have about 200 miles on them.  Dunlop Direzza DIII 215/40 R 17 Front and 255/35 R 18 Rear fitted on the Volk wheels.  There are a couple of very minor marks on the wheels.  In preparation for sale there has been over $17,000.00 spent to make sure she is completely up to date and ready for her new caretaker to enjoy.  Nothing was overlooked and we followed the recommendations from Science of Speed.

We have a clean and clear Carfax available.  It shows the two owners and has many of the services noted, not as completely as the service records document but a good history.  She has never been damaged in any way and the paint has not been broken or touched up.  Even the front of the car is chip free, again with no paintwork performed.  This fine automobile is far above average both inside and out.  The interior is immaculate with only slight wear from the shoulder belt on the drivers side bolster.  The carpets are perfect, they have had the factory floor mats covering and protecting them from new.  All of the buttons and controls work perfectly including the stereo and climate control units.  The only item that is less than perfect is the fabric covering the roof storage cover under the hatch, it is separating from the hard protector.

You will not find a better example of a 1997 NSX-T, regardless of mileage.  She shows even better in person than the photos show.  The beauty of this fine automobile is timeless and the Formula Red was always the model chosen for the sales promos from Acura.  And with good reason, the style is accentuated to show off her stunning lines.  With the additional power from the supercharger and the adjustments to the suspension, this is the car that Acura should have built from the factory.  I have many more pictures available, lots of detailed shots.  There are also videos available showing her driving both in town and on back roads.
