I have owned this car for 40 years and it has always been garaged.  The car was originally a California car.  I met the owner at a garage, he was getting a muffler replaced.  I asked him what he was doing in Arkansas.  He said he drove to Arkansas to work for his uncle.  It was July and his uncle was a roofer.  He said he regretted coming here and he was homesick.  I told him if he sold me his car he could be on a plane that afternoon.  He jumped at the deal.  I repaired a lot of the things that had been neglected.  I was a Ford parts manager for over 38 years. I wouldn’t be afraid to drive it anywhere.  The car didn’t have AC and it took a long time to find the correct parts. I have installed the parts, but haven’t had it evaluated and charged with freon yet.  I am 82 years old and need to downsize my cars.  My wife is in a rest home and I have spent over $200,000 in the last 2 years paying for her stay.  Between 8 and 9 thousand dollars per month.  I may have to be with her before long.  I am putting my house up for sale and I would lose my garage.  You need to have a plan while you’re young.  You have to get everything done 5 years before anything happens.
