2005 Lotus Elise 76,000 miles Graphite Grey over black interior Asking $32,000, negotiable
For sale is a 2005 Lotus Elise in Graphite Grey, which is one of the more rare colors. The car features the Touring package, dual oil coolers and the factory soft top. The car is in good mechanical condition and drives great. This is my third Elise, so know the cars pretty well. Inspections or test drives are welcome. Vehicle has a rebuilt VA title.

Issues of note: HVAC fan only works on #3 setting. Fortunately this is the strongest setting, so in my other Elise, I really only use two settings, either Off or #3. Using #1 or #2 is kind of pointless in my opinion because fan speeds 1-2 are all extremely close to 3, and if you need the heat or AC in an Elise, you typically want its full power. If you wish to address this I assume it is the common resistor pack issue. The new updated pack is only $329, but there is a bit of labor involved and as I find it plenty fine as is, have not elected to mess with it. The AC is not cold. Speedo/tach and radio work intermittently.
Chips, scrapes, etc. to exterior and some wear to interior, but I would say all very much in line with a used car of this mileage and to me it presents very well both inside and out.

I have experience shipping cars, so am more than happy to help facilitate shipping for the buyer. Typically I can get shipping anywhere from $0.50-$2.00 per mile, depending on whether you want open or enclosed.
Some will say you cannot insure a rebuilt title car. I checked with my insurer (State Farm) and they said they have absolutely no problem whatsoever insuring it and that the rate and coverage would be the exact same as any clean title Elise. I pay $100 a month to insure.
Some will say you cannot finance a rebuilt title car. Lightstream (a Capital One company) will be able to provide you 100% financing within 24-48 hours at reasonable interest rates. They do not care one bit if it is clean or rebuilt. They also have zero early pay off penalties, so if you borrowed for it, you could pay it off next week with no penalty.
