Vehicle Details

1964 Land Rover Series 2a. Runs and drives well. I am not an expert on these but it runs great, does not smoke, brakes well. steers pretty good for a vehicle of its age and looks really nice.  One dent on fender. According to guy I bought it from it spent most of its life in southwest US so shows almost no signs of rust.  Everywhere you go heads turn and people point at it and smile and sometimes wave. I have run out of room to store it and that is why I am selling it. Contact me and I can tell you all about it. I have no idea if this is the actual mileage but the speedometer works and odometer moves.  I have owned it about 9 years. It has a clear printed Ohio Title in my name I can transfer to you. There are a bunch of spare parts in the back including a motor to be installed on the windshield wiper. The heater core was by-passed by the previous owner.  I have driven it in the winter and the engine definitely generates heat that keeps the cabin warm. The drivers door latch needs to be adjusted.  It is a stout little truck that looks like it could go anywhere but to be honest I have never taken it off road.  The head lights and all the running lights, turn signals and brake lights work. The previous owner said he disassembled the entire truck and rebuilt it.  There are a few little things to do. It looks like the interior light wires are disconnected and the wiper motor needs to be installed but you can easily just drive it exactly the way it is.  I tool around town here in it and it has never let me down.  Has never over heated while I have owned it.
