About this vehicle
2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ 2-door 4.0 4WD automatic with 155,003 miles. It’s always been a dry-state Jeep that hasn’t been off-roaded. If you’re looking for a junker to cut the fenders on and take wheeling, this probably isn’t the best candidate—it’s too clean and rust-free.Seller's Notes
Jeep has the original dealer sticker and paint code plate (in pictures). I’m one of those geeks that keeps every receipt for everything. Maybe overkill, but I know who I’d rather buy a vehicle from. Jeep is 24+ years old and isn’t perfect, but damn close. Ask questions, request additional pictures or details. I want whoever buys this Jeep to be happy with it. It seriously gets a ton of thumbs up and compliments wherever I drive it. Pride of ownership throughout. Did I mention I have all the receipts? I have a box of spare parts,in addition to the factory original front seats. I wouldn’t hesitate to hop in and drive this cross country tomorrow.Vehicle Details
I purchased this 6+ years ago, in Madras, Oregon, where it had lived its whole life. Shortly after I got it, I installed an Old Man Emu lift, 16” Quadratec wheels and BFG KO2 265/75/16 tires, re-geared the rear end to 4.56 gears, and proceeded to go through every aspect of it, since it would be my daily driver. That included front/rear-end, transfer case, and transmission fluids, filter, and gaskets, plus new ignition parts. I have receipts for everything done to the Jeep. Some of the highlights include: Corbeau custom heated seats, remote start, WeatherTech liners throughout, professionally tinted windows (the correct way—windows out and new seals installed), and a Sony Bluetooth stereo with Kicker speakers. Recent work includes replacing valve cover, rear main seal, oil filter adapter, and oil pan gaskets—it doesn’t leak a drop of oil. New upper/lower radiator hoses, thermostat, and complete flush, new starter, battery, and AC compressor. New windshield July 2024. Has factory tow package. PW, PL, etc.
