Bought this car from a police auction a year ago as a reliable and safe family car. It is a great car, fun to drive, with good MPG. As a bonus, it's patrol car appearance means cars quickly move out of your way and speedsters drive carefully around you. Absolutely hugs the road, even though I hate mountain driving, this car made it easy.
If you live in the area and want to start it up before bidding, send me a message.
Selling it because we are moving and will not be able to bring car.
Pros: - Reinforced suspension - Push Guard - High power alternator and double wide battery - Weapon rack in trunk - High performance engine - Extra circuit breaker slots for accessories - Spotlight is great for setting up tent late at night or finding the door in the dark. - Bought from a good precinct, regularly maintained - Front seats have a hard back, you won't feel the kids kicking them - Rear and front USB charge ports - Police siren replaced with old timey ahooga horn. (silver button on console)
Got it looked over by a certified mechanic. 100% safe and working with no engine lights, no engine noises, no mechanical issues - new brakes - new ball joints - new ABS sensors - new all weather tires 3 months ago (100K warrantee) - new filters, all 16 iridium spark plugs, headlights, ect... - all oil changes on or before due
Cons - Some holes and other marks from removed police equipment, does not affect integrity of vehicle - no spare tire, but room for 3+ spares in enormous trunk - rear doors do not have handles, can be easily added by a mechanic. If you have young kids, this can be a pro
Damage - Scrape on rear passenger door - Crack on bumper, police put some zip ties on it so it will not get worse. - Ding on front driver door - Drivers armrest is worn. Easily replaced. $40 on Craigslist. Was on my to do list.
