This 1968 Camaro RS/SS is nice eye candy with its very desirable color Tripoli Turquoise, code K on a rust free body. The black vinyl top and black Bumble Bee stripe really makes it pop. Looking down both sides of the body, it is straight, all the panels fit excellent. The fit and finish is excellent. The paint is smooth and glossy. The trim, chrome, door handles, mirrors, tail light bezels and emblems are like new. All new weather stripping and window fuzzies. The wing windows are in good condition as are the rubber seals. The front grill is original with no cracks. The hidden headlights work as they should. The SS emblem in the grill is like new. The front bumper is shiny and has the optional bumperettes. It sits on a set of 15X7 Chevy Rally wheels with new trim rings and flat center caps and a new set of 235/60/15 BF Goodrich T/A radials tires!!
The black Deluxe interior really pops against the Tripoli Turquoise exterior. It has factory bucket seats with a Hurst Short Throw shifter coming out of the factory console with the optional factory gauges between them. The dash is in excellent shape. The speedo and Tic-Toc-Tach lenses are clear as well. It has a nice factory 3-spoke SS steering wheel with an optional tilt steering column. It has newer carpet, sill plates and dash pad. The door panels and headliner are in great shape. It also has an aftermarket AM/FM radio, rear defroster and Deluxe front and rear seat belts.
The engine bay has a satin black finish with a GM ZZ 454 crate motor featuring a serpentine front drive system, A/C, power steering, 4-core aluminum radiator, factory chrome valve covers and air cleaner, dual feed Holley 4 barrel carburetor, and an upgraded HEI ignition.
The undercarriage is just as clean as the topside, rust free and painted with a satin black finish. Bottom of the motor is clean as well as the upgraded TKX Tremec 5 speed manual transmission. It has 2.5” dual exhaust with a transverse muffler and tailpipes that dump out behind the rear wheel. There is a newer gas tank, sending unit and straps. It has a clean subframe and frame rails. The front end looks good, newer front and rear shocks and all body bushings look like they were replaced. It has a 12 bolt posi with 3:73 gears. The floors are all clean metal and appear to be original.
The trunk is all clean metal and detailed with a coat of factory like splatter paint, trunk mat and new trunk weather stripping.
