This is The War Eagle 1971 Corvette Convertible Wide Body, former award winning show car that was stored for about 25 years until we recently rescued it. It was a nicely done car that somebody spent a fortune on back in it's heyday. Nice looking paint with minor imperfections and chips.
Surprisingly, for as wild as it is, the Corvette remains a matching number 350/270HP, 4 speed Roadster with an Offenhauser Dual Quad/Edelbrock carburetor setup added. Excellent frame. It was originally a 912 code Sunflower Yellow car. Runs, moves, shifts, and stops but should be mildly gone through before driving far. Mostly because the tires are at least 40 year old Bias Ply Kelly Super Chargers and the brakes could use bleeding.
Big flares, big wheels, big tires, chrome Hooker sidepipes. Nice stock black interior, vinyl hardtop, black soft top. You simply will not find another Vette like it. It draws a huge crowd wherever you take it. The War Eagle is just a cool old car! It would be perfect for an LS swap Hot Rod and go carve the Canyons or just give it a little mechanical TLC and enjoy it like it is. Clean, clear California title in hand. Located in North County San Diego. Thanks and good luck!
