1968 Chevy Impala.

LA built car from Arizona. Originally a 327 car, it now has a 1969 300hp 350. It has what I believe to be the original TH400 transmission and 10 bolt, non posi, rear end. The car appears to have had one repaint in the same color, Grotto Blue.

Other options include AC and power steering. It has manual drum brakes all around. The brakes look good, but there is no pedal. It will need brake work.

The interior is matching blue with a bench seat and column shift. The interior also needs attention. The dash pad and package tray are bad, the rear seat is missing, and the front seat needs tracks. The headliner looks to be in good condition, the carpet is fair. The floor pans are bad, but the braces are good. Aside from the missing rear seat, the interior appears to be complete.

The engine starts off a jumper wire to the starter. It has a brand new HEI distributor that runs off the battery. It has a new battery tray and two fan belts. The AC compresser spins, but that belt is missing. It starts, idles, and revs up. I have not driven it to know that the engine is road worthy. Some of the lifters tick, but the car has been off the road since the early 90's.

The car has some wiring issues that I don't have time to address. It will not start with the key. Most of the lights worked when I got it. The front marker lights have broken wires.

The frame is very good, and the trunk floor is good with some small holes in the middle. Most likely from moisture under the spare tire sitting there. Trunk drop offs are good, the bumpers are good, grills are good, the hood is rust free from another car(trim piece is included), fenders have small rust spots behind the front wheels, doors look good and open and close nice, roof looks good, lower quarters need attention, rear window channel has rot on the sides and bottom, all the glass is good, the exhaust is good and sounds nice, rims are original 15x7 Rally's, but not from this car. The tires are good.
