This is my 70's street racer style 1955 Chevy
I always wanted a 4 speed 55 2 door post ever since I worked at the Arco station on Main street in Southbury CT
All the hot cars gassed up there on Friday night and one night a guy in a gold 55 with what he said was a 283 rolled in after he got some high test he said he would pull the wheels when he left ... he launched hard , the nose came up and I was hooked
Did he get daylight under his tires? I doubt it , but does it matter?. It led to a very fulfilling Hot rod life to say the least., But I digress

I call it the "Nuthin Special" as it's just a good old hard running primered 2 Door Post
hate the aluminum radiator but it was in the car when I got it and it works well
Battery and fuel fill are in Trunk

I have other projects I want to experience and not a lot of time as California is burning down and I don't have an electric motor for it so it's time to go
