This 450 has been parked non-running since 1984. The engine will spin over has good compression with oil pressure. All electricals work (blinkers, headlights, instruments,). Car has minor surface rust for its age. There is a rust spot behind the seat as well, there is a photo of that. Brakes need replacing. Fuel system will probably need to be replaced since it has been sitting so long. Overall car is in great condition ready for restoration. Before the gentleman passed away, he had just had all the interior and headliner replaced to his liking.
This is a very collectible Mercedes-Benz 450 SL.
Our friend who sold us the car says it was running and driving until it was parked when his father passed away. The tires and wheels that are on it are not the original ones. (Someone stole them when parked) It will need new original wheels if you choose to do so.
As far as delivery, we are located in Chattanooga Tn. Depending on where you are, we may deliver for a fee.
Someone needs to buy this beautiful car and put it back to original glory.
