This 1973 Fiat 124 Spider was recently moved out of storage after 7 years. Another classic car's brake failed, struck it while parked, and pushed it into another classic car. Unfortunately, the Fiat was uninsured. I am selling it as a parts car, or replacement tub or for total restoration.
ABOUT THE CAR: The original owner was a doctor in Savannah, Georgia, who owned it for 7 years. The second owner who lived in El Paso, Texas, owned it for 36 years, and is practically rust free. I bought it in 2017 from his daughter after he passed. It comes with a clear NM title with 95,646 actual miles. All the paperwork I have comes with it.
The car ran before it was damaged, but now it would need to be restored or parted out. All the chrome is in very good condition, no pitting. The paint is all original with the exception for the now damaged hood. All the glass is in very good condition. Comes with factory tool kit box.
The interior is original, but again, it was a preservation car and needs restoration. The dealer-installed air conditioning is complete.
It goes into gear and the brakes work. It has new Toyo tires and comes with tonneau and interior covers. It also comes with a new ABS dashboard cover, a new starter in the box, new mechanical fuel pump in the box, electric fuel pump, and carburetor rebuild kit, Fiat repair manuals, owner's manual, and various other parts. There is a new replacement convertible top still in the box. Unfortunately, the clear vinyl window is discolored, and a new one would have to be sewn in. The existing top is in tatters. Additional photos and info are available upon request.
Will hold the vehicle until pick up (within 14 days) and assist with loading, but it does not run and will need to be hand loaded.
