Starting with the exterior this suburban is beautiful the body is very straight it doesn’t have any dents or rust it may have a few dings here and there but nothing noticeable or too concerning. It was professionally repainted one time in its life back to its original smoke blue metallic and silver colors the reason for this repaint was the original paint started to peel in the early 90s the paint job looks great and is in great shape. The body side moldings and other exterior trim such as wheel opening moldings front and rear bumpers front grille window seals/trim and the glass are original and in great shape this suburban has been garage kept and very well maintained. The interior is beautiful near to no flaws the headliner is original and is not sagging, The original dash is not cracked yes that is correct the original dash is perfect shape and has never been replaced or repaired the door panels are in great shape with no imperfections the drivers front door panel is missing the chrome trim that covers the door pull strap. The seats are very plush and in amazing condition with no cuts rips or holes, the carpet is free from any stains or rips/tears. This interior has been extremely well kept in good shape and doesn’t have any weird smells or damage. This suburban still retains its original am/fm/cassette radio it was also optioned with front and rear air conditioning the air conditioning isn’t blowing cold air and could use a service. The original owner kept close to every single document with this suburban since new such as the original window sticker the original dealership invoice the owners booklets and manuals. The original owner also mentioned that he specifically ordered this suburban to be a K2500 4X4 with the full load sle trim package with the 5.7 350v8 with the automatic heavy duty transmission. I don’t believe this suburban is missing any other options that were available in 1989 but may be incorrect? As mentioned above this suburban has the 5.7 TBI 350 V8 paired to a automatic heavy duty transmission this suburban starts right up without hesitation and runs great doesn’t leak or smoke turn the key and it fires every time. The transmission shifts very smoothly no slips or issues. The 4x4 also works great it has automatic locking hubs so just shift into 4lo or 4hi and it’s in and ready to go this suburban also has its stock steel wheels with the factory deluxe k2500 hubcap they are in great shape and look good these wheels are mounted to Michelin radial lt2s with about 75% thread.
