Running Condition
Equipped with its original V8 283 engine; the engine has been completely overhauled and gone through. Running absolutely terrific, you should expect and appreciate there is no smoke, knocking, or abnormal noises. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts through all gears just like it should, the way it should. The brakes and suspension are nice and tight. There’s no mechanical issues here with this Bel-Air. It is truly a reliable, dependable, roadworthy classic vehicle.
Body & Paint
The body is super straight & the paint presents itself beautifully. There is no orange peeling, waves, or overspray on this car. The paint restoration was done about 10 years ago. In preparation, everything was disassembled and reassembled after paint was done. There is one small blemish on the passenger quarter panel as pictured. This car will show great and shine greater at any show.
Interior
The interior is absolutely stunning, beautiful and amazing. The upholstery is in excellent condition with no rips or tears anywhere. The headliner is in great shape. The chrome on the dashboard looks good as new. The door panels and rear ashtrays look terrific.
Glass & Chrome
All of the original chrome has been refinished and looks excellent to say the least. The chrome was reassembled properly within the correct specifications. Like the rest of the car, there are no dents, rust, pitting or peeling, nor scratches on the chrome. All of the glass is original to the car and in tip top shape to say the least.
Undercarriage & Trunk
All of the undercarriage is completely solid and rust free as seen in the attached photos. The trunk compartment is astonishing with no rust or cancer. The spare tire was removed and photos are listed to show that there is no rust anywhere on this car.
