Seller's Notes

My father-in-law purchased at dealer auction in mid-1980s from southern US owner for my girlfriend to drive when she got her license. She drove it daily for about 2 years (all seasons, mostly local area) while in high school in Michigan 1987-89. Purchased in "original" and driveable condition. For safety/ease of use, power steering installed plus new and extra leaf springs in an Oldsmobile positraction. Was in a minor traffic accident right after she got it, damage to front passenger fender and front bumper. Fender has been pieced/welded. **NEEDS front bumper. No other major collision damage. All glass present & intact. **NEEDS passenger side mirror & antenna - broken off at storage. Needs a stock accelerator pedal - has a large homemade one.

Vehicle Details

Classic 1969 Plymouth Barracuda two door coupe, with 318 V8 engine, 3-speed automatic transmission, rear wheel drive. Hard to read odometer, but looks like 62,224 miles. Forest green paint and vinyl upholstery. Owned by family since mid-1980s. My father-in-law purchased at auction from southern US owner in driveable condition, for my girlfriend to drive in high school. Has not been driven since 1991 (parked in storage.)

GOOD BONES but requires extensive restoration work to return it to its former beauty and performance. Great project car for a serious enthusiast with the time, knowledge, and resources to restore it to its original condition. THIS IS A LABOR OF LOVE PROJECT! THE RIGHT PERSON WILL SEE THE POTENTIAL AND BE REWARDED FOR THEIR EXPERTISE!

Have at least one set of keys, possibly two. Took pics at storage lot. No visible holes through floor pan, but could not visually inspect undercarriage, floor or frame for rust/etc - not able to get under car without putting it jacks, and not comfortable doing that. Was in running condition when parked, and no mechanical/drive train/engine parts have been disassembled or removed. NOT RUNNING. HAS BEEN IN OUTDOOR STORAGE, NOT DRIVEN SINCE 1991. When parked, had been used as a daily driver for about 2 years, ran and drove smoothly. Put into storage when primary driver left for college (did not want to park it at dorm/campus lot.) Visible rust throughout. No collision damage to frame.

Buyer pick up only - NO DELIVERY AVAILABLE. Buyer responsible for all loading/towing arrangements & expenses. Will need flatbed tow from storage facility to car's new home - ALL TIRES FLAT. We will coordinate a convenient time to meet at storage facility and provide access for loading - vehicle is parked behind 2 sets of locked gates.

ASKING $9,999.00 AS IS / AS PICTURED. IMMEDIATE *NONREFUNDABLE* DEPOSIT OF $500.00 DUE WHEN YOU COMMIT TO BUY. EBAY GIVES YOU 48 HOURS TO COMPLETE YOUR DEPOSIT PAYMENT. Remainder of payment due within 7 days. Will accept money order or wire transfer to my bank. Vehicle pick up arrangements can be made in advance, but cannot be picked up until AFTER PAYMENT CLEARS.

We are not able to show the car to potential buyers in person - this is why we chose to list it on ebay. We understand the challenge of assessing condition from photos and written descriptions. We feel it is priced accordingly based on the condition visible in photos and the value/level of "completeness" of parts. Please read ALL NOTES and review photos carefully. Reach out with any questions. We will respond as quickly and accurately as possible
