You are viewing an extremely nice, highly optioned, original un-restored, 1971 Chevrolet Corvette T-top coupe. It is very well documented including tank sticker, original dealer sales invoice, window sticker, service receipts, and on and on it goes. It was sold new at Champion Chevrolet, Manhattan Beach California, to Mr. Charles Silverman on April 1, 1971. This stingray has spent it's entire life as a dry climate car in Southern California and Colorado, with almost all miles being driven early in it's life, in the So. Cal area. Miles are original and are records and title substantiated. The service and maintenance has always been top notch and the mechanics show it. Tires are new and A/C has been recently been serviced and charged. Runs and drives as well as any 1971 Corvette can. Everything works properly on the car including the ice cold air conditioning, power steering, accurate dash gauges, lights, wipers, power windows, radio, console fiber optics, and a clock that still keeps time. Options include A/C, tilt/tele wheel, power windows, deluxe PO2 finned wheel covers, factory stereo radio, etc. (see tank or window sticker). The engine is a Turbo-fire 350 V-8, the transmission is a 4-speed with a 3:36positraction rear end....all are correct and original to the car. All numbers and casting dates are correct on major and minor components including alternator, carburetor, manifolds etc. Glass is nice and original to the car as is all the chrome and bright work. Paint and body are in exceptional factory original condition. The FACTORY ONTARIO ORANGE FIREMIST PAINT, (code 897), is still bright with much factory gloss, and is about as good as you will ever see on a 50+year old Corvette. There is little to no lacquer checking, very little  chipping, and the front end rivet swelling along with body seam delineation is very minimal....all conditions particular to un-restored original paint Corvettes. No previous or present body damage of note to report. Anyone can have a restoration, but not many good documented originals left. Cars can be built by the factory only once, and NOBODY does it like they do. I take my listings seriously, so please ask any and all questions or have the car inspected before you bid. Those with zero feedback or non paying violations please move on. Click on additional photos below to enlarge, also, click on video below to automatically play. Thank you.
