1995 Honda Prelude VTEC Race / Show Car Project

You are bidding on a very clean, two owner, accident and rust free 95 Honda Prelude VTEC with 135,439 original miles. This car was purchased from the original owner with 41,225 miles on the odometer. 

The car was daily driven until I started disassembling and doing extensive modifications to the engine, chassis and drivetrain. I completely stripped the car and had the chromoly roll-cage professionally installed and Tig welded by MR2 Performance. The interior tin work, windows and other fab-work were done by Roo-Man Fabrication. While this was being done the engine was getting a race build at WestSide Motorsports in California. The T4 Turbo was built and specced by Fastrax Turbo to produce over 800 wheel horsepower. The car was painted Honda S2000 pearl yellow by T&K Paintworks on Gasoline Alley in Indianapolis. All of the polishing was completed by Mag Masters in California and Burgess Plating in Indianapolis.

The car was originally built to be a multi-purpose show car, drag car while still being able to be street driven or even auto crossed/road raced with the addition of a rear sway-bar and different wheel and tire combination. 

Over the years, I lost interest in the project and have decided to offer it up for sale. There is over $90,000 in modifications, parts and materials in this build. I am hoping the winning bidder will appreciate this Prelude as much as I have and complete the project.

Painted Honda S2000 yellow (originally Black), with Wings West polyurathane front bumper and side skirts, removable sun roof panel, carbon fiber mirrors, VIS clear-coated lightweight carbon hood, scratch resistant Lexan front and rear windows (door and side glass are OEM) with new OEM moldings (OEM rear window included in auction),  JDM black factory Honda headlamps, custom rear tail lamps.

Interior:

Full chromoly roll cage, Recaro SPG seats with custom billet mounts, Momo steering wheel and adapter, custom aluminum tin work, TAK window net, Skunk-2 shift knob. Momo pedal covers.

Suspension:

TEIN Type-HA coil-overs with pillow ball mounts, Spoon Sports front and rear strut bars, GAB front lower arm bar, all new suspension parts including, A-arms, polyurethane bushings, hardware, etc., custom (Traction System) front crossmember and trailing arms, 

Brakes:

Billet front brake calipers, Cryo Treated slotted front and rear rotors and Neuspeed stainless brake lines.  New OEM brake booster. 

Engine:

Fully built and blueprinted (original to car) H22A1 with Fastrax T4 Turbo, Kiwi stainless turbo manifold, Apexi bar and plate intercooler, custom stainless dump pipe and 4" exhaust outlet, polished aluminum intercooler piping, Tial wastegate, HKS Racing BOV, C&R Racing radiator and water pump with braided hoses and AN fittings, Golden Eagle oil filter block, Cunningham rods, sleeved block, balanced rotating assembly, Aries pistons with total seal rings, ARP studs throughout including exhaust and intake studs, balance shaft block off. STR cam gears, Morroso oil pan, aluminum breather tank, Custom aluminum radiator tank. All engine internals Cryo treated.

Cylinder Head has Titanium retainers, Ferrea Comp+ stainless intake and exhaust valves, valve guides, ported and polished with 5 angle valve job, upgraded valve springs.

Fuel:

SX fuel pump, pressure regulator and twin filters, Earl's Stainless fuel lines (-10 feed, -8 return), STR polished aluminum intake manifold, STR fuel rail, Holley 70mm throttle body, custom throttle cable and bracket, RC injectors, custom fuel cell.

Engine block, cylinder head, transmission cases and accessories are polished aluminum.

Transmission:

Tilton Triple Disc Carbon/Carbon Clutch and Tilton lightened flywheel, Quaife limited slip differential, all new bearings and seals, all internals Cryo treated, upgraded axles, STR scatter shield, Quick disconnect on clutch slave cylinder.  Neuspeed short shifter.

Wheels and Tires:

Bogart Pro-4 Billet wheels, Goodyear Eagle 26x10-15 front tires, Goodyear Eagle 25x4.5-15 rear tires. ARP extended front wheel studs

Notes:

Has all wiring / hardware for working lights, turn signals and power windows if desired.

Vehicle will come with several totes/boxes of  new and used parts, spare materials, as well as paperwork and Honda shop manual, stickers and installation instructions where provided.

*This is an unfinished project! Will need fuel injection computer, ignition system, gauges, engine harness, engine sensors, vacuum lines for turbo and some other items to complete. Auction includes chassis wiring harness that needs to be installed/completed.*

Will accept cash in person, money order or certified bank check. Checks must be verified prior to vehicle shipping. Full payment requested within 10 days of auction close. Vehicle is for sale locally and seller reserves the right to end auction early. Will provide a clean Indiana title to purchaser, title in hand.

Shipping:

Buyer is responsible for ALL shipping costs or can pick up in person. I can assist in loading the vehicle and Misc, parts. I recommend an inclosed Hauler/Trailer for shipping due to the large amount of included parts. Contact me if you need assistance finding a shipper or have any questions.
